Amazing Reading

The members of the online club Good Reads read an excerpt from the story Wonder by American author R. J. Palacio. The main character starts 5th grade. His name is August Pullman, and he suffers from a rare disease. The features of the boy's face seem to be confused, which usually causes people horror. The story tells how August starts a regular school after homeschooling. He faces new difficulties, acquaintances, and much more. Our club visitors learned tolerance once again. They agreed that a sense of humor and friendship could create a real miracle. We hope that our participants will continue to read the story with interest and learn English with us.
