The new restrictions started, but Window on America in Kherson continued to meet with users, albeit through web-conferencing applications. English for Beginners students already have online lessons experience, so the class was conducted according to the usual Saturday schedule. And after the courses, we were pleased with the virtual presence of our undeterred women of the club Window to success, which took place despite obstacles. Participants presented their future projects and shared experiences on overcoming obstacles.

On Sunday, lovers of spoken English discussed a provocative topic of politics with Tom Laughlin and Svitlana Zorina. During the communication, foreign visas and other significant questions for Ukrainian and American citizens were affected.

The final meeting last week was with young English readers. Kids read the classic American short story 'The Kind Dog Catcher,' which we chose for National Pet Day. Since 2006, Americans celebrate this date on April 11. The objective of this day is to help animals from shelters to find a new home, and the objective of the Good Reads Club is to help children learn a foreign language. We read not only engaging but also instructive stories together.

We wish you a good start to your workweek in quarantine, and we look forward to seeing you again, despite any obstacles!
