Club’s holidays

June 10 the library’s Window on America” weekly talk-club meeting was attended by 10 users. Club members played the WOA’s “Mind battle”. They were told about the club facilitator’s vacation, so the talk-club would also have holidays.

The Kherson WOA’s summer

June 7 the Kherson “Window on America” was attended by pupils of the school №54 and pupils of the Oleksandrivka village school. Children played the WOA’s “Mind battle” and “Treasures of Indian chiefs”.

About Christopher Columbus

June 6 the Kherson “Window on America” was attended by the second year students of the Kherson State University. We were speaking about Christopher Columbus’s life and discoveries.

Library assortment

June 4 and June 5 the Kherson “Window on America” was attended by pupils of the high school № 6 and pupils of the school № 32. Children played the WOA’s “Fort Boyard” game and had our “Literary assortment”.

How not to be deceived

June 3 the library’s Window on America” weekly talk-club meeting was attended by 13 users. Club members were being told about cognitive biases and were being taught how not to be deceived. The meeting was prepared by the volunteer from Mykolaiv Oleh Popov.

Literary assortment

May 31 the Kherson WOA was visited by the pupils of the Bilozerka Lyceum. The children listened about outstanding American and British writers and had a quiz and some literary games.
