On December 1, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat in the bus’s colored section to a white passenger, after the white section was filled.
So December 7 the library’s “Window on America” weekly talk-club meeting was devoted to Rosa Parks.
Talk-club members (14 persons) were watching a film about her, listening to her and after discussing and comparing civil rights observance in the USA and in Ukraine.
