Easter and Traditions
09.04.2012
This week the English club for children was attended by five students. We began club by introducing ourselves giving our name and our favorite color (and why). Katherine then gave a presentation on Easter traditions in the U.S. We talked about how Easter is celebrated in Ukraine and what are some similarities between the two countries' traditions. We worked on the tongue twister: Each Easter Eddie eats eighty eggs. The kids made quick work of this. We also did a word find activity where the students were given a word and must find it from among a jumble of letters. Finally, as we had some extra time, we played a round of UNO.
