Day of Laughter & English Grammar
2.04.11 was a very full day in our weekly club meeting at the "Window on America" center with very lively conversation about adventures on the Day of Laughter. First, everyone shared their knowledge about this holiday. Then the participants had to form words from various suffixs, prefixes and roots. The group was divided into two teams with each one receiving a task. The team had to select the correct root word for each suffix and prefix. The new level of work for the group could be called "Future adventures in English". Future tense and how to create it and translating the situations which were assigned - that was the third task for the combinations. Naturally, our participants only spoke English and we hope that these meetings and the opportunity to improve their language skills appeal to our readers. More photos.
