We Read and Discover the World

Traditionally, we read another story - Amazing Snakes! - at the English Reading Club on Sunday. You probably knew that snakes live almost all over the world. You cannot find them only at the North and South Poles, in New Zealand, Iceland, and Ireland. Most people think that a snake's skin feels wet and slimy, but this is not the case. In fact, its scales are dry and warm because the warmer is the body of this reptile, the faster they digest the prey.
