Speed English + Shaw’s “Pygmalion”

April 21 the Kherson “Window on America” Center was again attended by pupils of Chornobaivka village secondary school.

In the beginning of the meeting we offered children to play Speed English, the topic was “Personal preferences”. Then on the occasion of George Bernard Shaw’s 160-th anniversary we spoke about him, his life, his works, and particularly about his most famous play “Pygmalion”. Children had some interesting activities with Shaw’s expressions, cockney slang and watched some parts from 1964 American musical film “My Fair Lady”.
