November 24 the first topic of Window on America weekly talk-club meeting was about John F. Kennedy, the 35thPresident of the United States, because of his tragic assassination in Dallas (Texas) November 22, 1963. John F. Kennedy started the Peace Corps in 1961.
The second topic was initiated by Peace Corps volunteers Mary and Steve. They wanted to tell about their home in forest country of Massachusetts and great variety of animals and birds they can see near their house every day.
So the stories and pictures were about bears, coyotes, foxes, skunks, bats, beavers, raccoons, snakes, opossums, porcupines, and some kinds of birds.
