How Do We Protect Personal Data?

Before the Safer Internet Day, the center Window on America in Kherson held an online debate on personal and confidential data and ways to protect it for Kherson State University students and representatives of the ‘Mediaosvita’ student club. We thank Natalia Viktorivna Bazylevych, Candidate of Philological Sciences, for the invitation. The attendees learned about the legal framework on this issue, received some practical advice on personal data protection, and learned to distinguish bots on social networks. Studying any aspect of media literacy teaches us to critically evaluate the information environment, to know what sources we can trust, how to protect ourselves from manipulation. And most importantly - it teaches us to think independently and make conclusions for each different situation.
