Did you know, for example, that EducationUSA Competitive College Club (CCC) is a program designed to help highly motivated and talented students submit competitive applications to very selective colleges and universities in the U.S. The CCC serves as a cohort advising platform for better preparation for admissions throughout the application process. This includes explanation of the U.S. education system, tests preparation seminars, essay writing sessions, and much more. While CCC does not guarantee admissions, it is designed to assist students to improve the chances of being admitted to U.S. colleges or universities. Participation in CCC is free and is open to all eligible students in Ukraine regardless of ethnicity and economic background.
Nikita Lunin, a FLEX representative in Kherson, spoke about his experience in the United States. He participated in the Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) which is intended for high school students. The program provides Ukrainian students with an opportunity to go to the United States, study at an American school for one academic year, and live with an American family. Host organizations are responsible for finding a family and enrolling students in an American school.
