New Year and birthday are favorite dates for both children and adults. The researchers believe that the tradition of celebrating birthdays appeared in Ancient Egypt among the nobles: pharaohs and their heirs. The members of the Easy English for Kids speaking club had a small party on this occasion. During the meeting, they learned how to celebrate this day in other countries. The visitors named their birthdays in English and shared the traditions of their families. By the way, in some American schools came up with a half birthday, for example, ten and half years. The habit appeared so that the student could celebrate with classmates if the event falls on vacation.
