Talk-club Reloaded

  April 24 the library’s “Window on America” weekly talk-club meeting was attended by 26 users.

We played "Speed English" again. Smoking and alcoholism were the topics of our discussion that day. Pairs of interlocutors were discussing the following: do you smoke, do you think it’s okay to smoke, do you think it’s okay to drink alcohol, how often do you drink alcohol, can you imagine people's life without alcohol and cigarettes, can high prices for alcohol and cigarettes hold up people's drinking and smoking, since what age would you allow your son or daughter to drink alcohol et cetera.
