Did you know that there are no snakes in New Zealand, and Queen Elizabeth II is officially Queen of New Zealand, represented in the country by a Governor General?
These and other interesting facts about English-speaking countries were learned by the pupils of the Bilozerskiy Lyceum, who, thanks to the project "Summer Camp in the Library" in the Foreign Language Department and Window on America Center, took part in the geographic quiz.
The quiz is divided into 8 stations – the largest English-speaking countries. For example, the station "Ireland" and the game "Hopscotch". The children threw a stone and chose to answer questions or to perform an action suggested by the librarian. "Follow the leader" is the task at "United States" station. This game teaches you to work in a team and to choose a good leader.
