Family Values and Reading in English
Summer is in full swing, but young visitors to the online club Good Reads find time to read stories in English. During this meeting, we offered them a story about a day on the farm. At the same time, we raised the issue of family values and habits. The attendees shared their traditions and rules. It is from the family that every teenager receives emotional and material support. By the way, parents from 11 developed countries took part in a study of the time they spend with their children. The results show that modern moms and dads spend twice as much time with their children as they did 50 years ago, up to 104 minutes a day.
The parents of our participants learn them to preserve cultural values, motivate interest in reading and learning English.
