Grammar Begins With a Rule

22.05.2021 15:25

During the next meeting of the English Grammar Club at Window on America in Kherson, the participants discussed the use of the verbs have and have got. Duplicating each other in meaning, they, however, are used differently in different types of sentences (interrogative, negative).

You can speak English without revising grammar rules day and night. Even more, knowing all the rules will not make it easier for you to communicate. An effective way to start talking is to visit various speaking clubs, one of which gathers every Sunday at Window on America in Kherson for more than ten years. If you use the words correctly, foreigners will most likely understand you. But if you are a person of analytical mind and want to understand what mean the studied constructions, then you should join our English Grammar Club. Choosing one of the topics, club members repeat the rule and train it in exercises and (what is more important!) in speech.
