Shakespeare’s 450-th anniversary

May 14 in the library’s “Window on America” center one of the most famous Shakespearian character Othello was tried by children’s court and acquitted. The event was devoted to the 450-th anniversary of inimitable William Shakespeare.
Children were playing Shakespearian characters as witnesses for the prosecution and legal defence. At the beginning children were given short information about Shakespeare’s creative work and African-American Laurence Fishburne’s first in the world title role in Othello movie performance.
