Web accessibility: the practice of barrier-free communication

On July 23, in cooperation with the Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V. Otamanovsky, a webinar “Web Accessibility: Practice of Barrier-Free Communication” was held.
During the online event, Tetiana Donchenko, Head of the Foreign Language Documents Department, gave a presentation, “On the Way to Digital Accessibility”. We examined how modern online tools help make resources accessible to all users. Participants also learned about the basic rules for posting content on websites, the importance of alternative text for images, using simple language, and creating subtitles in videos.
We sincerely thank our colleagues from Vinnytsia for their cooperation and interest in the topic of accessibility! Together, we are making libraries open to everyone.
