Elections and Favorite Historical Figures

On Sunday, we remembered John Howard, John Paul Jones, Nicola Tesla, Bill Clinton, John Biden, Donald Trump, Hryhorii Potemkin, Olexander Suvorov, and other prominent people during the Speaking club at Window on America in Kherson. History is fascinating as a science unfortunately not everyone loves it. However, every club visitor has a historical or political figure he admires. Thanks to Tom Laughlin, the club's facilitator, we learned about elections and voting in the United States, as well as how Americans vote while in Ukraine. Everyone talked about their favorite historical figure and learned new facts about American politics and culture.
