Games for Learning English

On November 19, a librarian from the Department of Foreign Languages and Window on America in Kherson was invited to Kherson Specialized School No. 31. Our new users have shown their English skills in «Fort Boyard» language game. This activity consisted of five tasks, which were to be completed by six teams, scoring points. The participants guessed the English riddles, fitted English and Ukrainian proverbs, recognized the characters of literary works by their descriptions, spelled the words correctly. We evaluated not only the speed but also the correctness of the tasks. The competition was lively and exciting.
