Let's Speak about Current Topics

Window on America in Kherson and the members of the English Speaking club discussed two issues actual in early December: International Volunteer Day, which was celebrated worldwide on December 5, and International Anti-Corruption Day, December 9. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to all our volunteers. You have helped and continue helping our visitors to study English. Thank you for your humanity and work!

During the meeting, club members watched a video about volunteer activities and considered differences in volunteer activities in the United States and Ukraine. The participants also discussed various situations of corruption that we may face in everyday life. Everyone chose their solution to the problem and discussed which solution would be most effective. We came to the conclusion that it is possible to meet corruption in any sphere of life. But we may only overcome it by starting with ourselves.
