How King Midas Helps to Study English

The next meeting of the Good Reads English Reading club took place according to the new schedule, on Sunday. All together we read the story of King Midas. This sadly known ruler of Ancient Greece wished that everything he touched would become gold. Everyone knows that it did not bring him much happiness. The members of the club expressed their opinion on this issue with the statement: Be careful what you wish for. It may come true.
