How to learn the words easier: TalkMasters club meeting

Participants of the «TalkMasters» English Speaking Club gathered to practice English, learn new vocabulary, and complete creative activities that help reinforce new language skills.

This time, the group explored the topic of Weather. During interactive activities, participants reviewed the names of different weather phenomena, practiced correct pronunciation, and used the new vocabulary in speaking. They reinforced what they had learned by playing Weather Bingo. Board games are an effective way to learn foreign vocabulary because they combine visual cues, hands-on interaction with game materials, and repeated exposure to new words. This combination helps learners remember vocabulary more quickly and retain it for longer.

The creative part of the meeting focused on plants. Participants reviewed the parts of a plant, practiced the words flower, stem, leaves, and roots, and created their own paper plant crafts by «planting» them in illustrated flower pots.

Activities like these help participants expand their vocabulary, improve their speaking skills, and reinforce new language through games, creativity, and hands-on practice.
