Time to Revise the Grammar
English Grammar Club at Window on America in Kherson finally meets offline, though we don't forget about quarantine requirements. After the summer vacation, we decided to repeat the basic tenses. The club visitors remembered the rules, made many exercises. We laughed together while reading a Mad Libs story. Mad Libs is a word game where one player prompts others for a list of words to substitute for blanks in a story. Each word has the specified type, for example ‘noun’, ‘verb’, ‘place’, ‘celebrity’, or ‘part of the body’. Finally, the completed story is read aloud. The result is usually comic and surreal because the players don't know what the story was about.
