Cyber School and Smart Junior in the library
Students of Cyber School and Smart Junior at Kherson State Agricultural University got acquainted with new technical devices of Honcharivka. The event was co-hosted by the Internet Center, Window on America in Kherson, Maker Space and the Center for people with special needs. Our visitors had the unique opportunity to cut figures on the Maker Space plotter by themselves. They learned about 3D-printing equipment, gained their first experience using our 3D-printer Mankati, and gained skills in working with the ULTIMAKER CURA 3D-model preparation and processing software. With the joint efforts of the two groups, they succeed to assemble and to program a robot from Lego Mindstorms. Cyber School and Smart Junior listeners also used 3D-pens, PlayStation 4 Pro game console, interactive table, Ting pen which reads in German, the equipment for visually impaired people and Braille reader.
We hope that our joint work with Kherson State Agricultural University will continue, because the library has what to offer and to be interested in.
