Gerund in English

Our English Grammar club looks forward to the meeting in the library next week. Meanwhile, we continued to study the functions of verbs ending in -ing. You will probably agree that English is a very concise language. English texts are usually 20-40 % shorter than texts in Ukrainian. The gerund, a form that easily transforms a verb into a noun, helps to shorten the sentence and express the thought in the best and most accurate way.
