Inimitable Bernard

May 5 the Kherson “Window on America” Center was again attended by pupils of the school №30.

 On the occasion of George Bernard Shaw’s 160-th anniversary his bright personality was the topic of our meeting. Particular attention was paid to Shaw’s most famous play “Pygmalion”. We were speaking about its main characters, differences between the play and its screen versions, comparing them and actors.

 Children also had some interesting activities with Shaw’s expressions, cockney slang and watched some parts from 1964 American musical film “My Fair Lady”.
