Types of Conditional Sentences in English
The next meeting of the English Grammar Club at the Kherson Center «Window on America» was devoted to revising types of Conditionals in English. Sometimes we call them 'if clauses.' They describe the result of something that might happen (in the present or future) or might have happened but didn't (in the past). There are four main types: Zero Conditional, First, Second, and Third Conditional. They are made using different English verb tenses. It takes a lot of practice to feel free among this diversity. During an hour, the club members alternated more passive exercises with composing their conditional sentences.
