September 30 the Kherson “Window on America” Center and oblast library’s Internet- Center invited cadets of Kherson Maritime College.
The topic of the meeting was e-reading.
Cadets were told about the history of the electronic book, Michael Stern Hart, the inventor of the ebook and the founder of Project Gutenberg and about e-readers.
Boys had Amazon Kindle competition consisting of some points. The winners were given prizes of “Window on America”.
